Ori Alon to discuss his participatory art project Empowering
Clerks Network (Center for Supportive Bureaucracy) that has offered Playful
Paperwork since 2006. The Empowering Clerks
Network is an international organization providing Playful Paperwork services
to diverse populations and offers pop-up office hours in various communities,
schools, workplaces and events. Applicants can receive assistance
from licensed Empowering Clerks and issue Joy Permits, Refurbished Report
Cards, Forgiver’s Licenses and more. So far the ECN has issued and distributed
more than 32,000 official documents.
